Biography
David Bruce has conducted housing research since 1990 on a variety of issues concerning affordable housing development, primarily in rural Atlantic Canada. He is a former recipient of a CMHC graduate scholarship award, and was awarded the CMHC Award by the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association in 2001 for "outstanding contribution to meeting Canadian Housing and Renewal Association's (CHRA) housing objectives and in particular to promoting social housing and/or community renewal." He also served as editor of CHRA's magazine "Canadian Housing" for a number of years.
